Unity Opto, Formosa Epitaxy Lower 2010 Predictions

September 10, 2010...LED chip packaging firm Unity Opto Technology posted August revenues that were down 4.6 percent sequentially but the revenues were up 58 percent on year to NT$670 million (US$20.979 million). Dow Chemical to build LED, Display Components Plant in South Korea

August 19, 2010...Dow Chemical Co., the top U.S. chemicals manufacturer, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the governments of South Chungcheong Province of South Korea and the city of Cheonan to build the factory for light-emitting diodes and display panel components.
